Most of our subdivisions were finished 20 years ago, though you can still find the occasional vacant lot. The biggest news on the horizon is the proposed development at the bottom of Cattle Creek (south of town).
This project is a "big deal" because it could fundamentally change the Highway 82 corridor. However, with strong anti-growth sentiment in the area, its future is still a topic of heavy debate. For now, "new" in Glenwood usually means custom or small-scale local projects.
